Samarinda - Persisam Putra Samarinda Indonesia League staring a new format with optimism. They sure could still exist, though still hampered by funding matters.
"God willing, keep the road in the ISL. Management remains optimistic," said General Manager Persisam Son Harbiansyah Hanafiah in perbincangannya with reporters at the Secretariat Persisam, GOR Segiri Complex, Jl. Kesuma Nations, Samarinda, Saturday (06/08/2011) afternoon PST.
Harbiansyah call the team needs to wade through one season at least Rp 25 billion. However, he claimed to have found the source of funds that much.
"How will we have met the Mayor of Samarinda agendakan Syaharie Ja'ang, Monday (08/08/2011) later," said Harbiansyah.
"We want the Mayor to come to think Persisam. Because Persisam own as we all know has become a love for the community Samarinda," he added.
Added Harbiansyah, manejemen still resist the desire to hunt for a classy player who will strengthen the squad in the upcoming season. Some players were targeted by the club is nicknamed "Eagle Borneo" was.
"Approximate to hunt for a classy player that already exist. The concept is already there. Just so, still view the source of funding in the future," said Harbiansyah said, reluctant to reveal the name of the targeted player management.
"Maybe later, one solution to funding, by increasing ticket sales. With an average per game is always on top of 5,000 spectators, I think people can understand that tickets will be raised," explains Harbiansyah.
In managing the club, Harbiansyah discipline since the club's player payroll was entrusted to him, following a corruption Aidil Fitri engagement while serving as General Manager.

Representing management, Harbiansyah gave top honors to a line of players such as M. "The players still receive a paycheck this month and September. I've set, as a right of player salaries should not be past due," explained Harbiansyah.
"Timeliness we pay salaries, it becomes a target for other clubs players and coaches to join the Persisam. But we'll answer," he concluded.
