Spanish national team captain, Iker Casillas, felt his team did not deserve to lose now meet Italy in a friendly match. According to the Real Madrid goalkeeper, La Furia Roja deserved a draw.
In a match that held in San Nicola, Thursday (11/08/2011) pm dawn, Spain perform less well in the first half. However, they are able to draw against Gli Azzurri with the score 1-1 at halftime.
In the second half, the game Vicente del Bosque's team showed improvement. However, they instead conceded in the last minute and eventually lost 1-2.
"I do not think Italy deserved to win because a draw would be fair. They played well in the first half, but Spain is much better after the break," said Casillas on Football Italia.
Casillas assess atmospheric dawn last match versus Italy no longer a game friendship, but as the match competitive.
"When there are games such as Italy, Spain, was never really a friendly match, because this is important on the world level," he said.
"We (the Spanish national team) are not met in a long time so we were a bit stiff in the preseason, but we want to win and play to win. That does not happen. I want to win this game and everything is to play 100 percent," he added.
